We started with a deep audit of Gainsight's existing footprint — over 38,000 tracked keywords at baseline, hundreds of indexed pages, and a sprawling Essential Guide cluster that was already a strategic asset but hadn't been mapped against modern AI citation behavior. From the audit we built a 12-month roadmap prioritizing a commercial page production sprint targeting solutions and comparison keywords, an Essential Guide expansion plan to deepen topical authority, a two-tier link acquisition program, and a GEO tracking and intervention system across all major AI platforms.
Across the engagement we shipped a steady cadence of deliverables: commercial comparison pages, monthly editorial calendars with refreshes of high-intent Essential Guides (customer success management, QBRs, voice of the customer, customer journey, product analytics) and a Content Pruning Report to consolidate thin or duplicate pages, high authority link building, and a comprehensive AI/LLM audit report and recurring GEO tracking dashboards.
We adapted continuously as the AI search landscape shifted. When GSC impressions began to compress while average position improved, we pivoted from chasing impression volume to defending click share on the highest-converting commercial terms. When event registration pages began converting at 40–90% off organic traffic, we doubled down on the content paths that fed into them. And when the AI/LLM landscape moved faster than expected through late 2025, we built a dedicated GEO reporting layer rather than treating it as a sub-section of SEO — and that decision is what produced the #1 result we're now able to defend.

Ten months into the SimpleTiger engagement, Gainsight has built what is increasingly hard to replicate in the customer success category: a defensible #1 position in generative AI search, doubled top-3 organic rankings on the keywords that matter most, and a brand-direct demand engine growing 129% year-over-year.
AI-referred visitors are converting at nearly 50%, demo requests are up 67% versus baseline, and combined conversions are up +37% quarter-over-quarter.
The next phase of the program focuses on capturing untapped AI prompts, completing the current commercial page sprint, and continuing to compound topical authority across the customer success, customer experience, and product analytics clusters.

In September 2025, we spearheaded Firecrawl’s inaugural PPC launch on Google Ads, targeting a strategic mix of unbranded service terms and high-intent integration terms.
